This is one of the best managed fishing areas in the prefecture where you can fish in more natural conditions using high-quality water from Mount Iwate and Hachimantai. The fish that can be caught include rainbow trout, iwana (char), itou, and ginzake (salmon).
You can choose the time of day and the area of the pond or mountain stream according to your purpose and style of fishing, making it a thrilling spot for beginners, children, and advanced anglers alike to feel the "pull" of the fish as it moves through the rod.
Rental rods (for bait fishing) and bait are also available for sale, making it easy to try your hand at fishing when you feel like it.
*Lure and fly fishing is limited to bring your own fishing gear. Bait fishing is only available in the morning.
