Located in the Appi Kogen pension area, this cozy pension was founded in 1985.
The owners, active skiers and snowboarders, are intimately familiar with the backcountry slopes of Hachimantai and the various runs of the Appi Kogen ski resort, so many guests are repeat customers who want to learn their techniques. The couple are affectionately known as "Appi Papa" and "Appi Mama."
There are 11 Western-style rooms with charming interiors. Rooms with lofts are popular with families with children. There is a bar counter with a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and a play area with a fireplace, among other things that will keep you entertained even if you stay for several nights.
On weekdays, the pension can accommodate groups of 2 to a maximum of 39 people for private bookings.
